Boat monitoring in Greece
A boat in a Greek marina or on a mooring often spends months without its owner. Cloud Shelter watches it while you are away — bilge, batteries, shore power, smoke, security and position — and sends a clear alert to your phone the moment something needs you.
We are a European company based in Limassol, Cyprus, and we ship to Greece.
Summer brings heat and heavy battery loads; the meltemi and winter storms bring wind and water. Cloud Shelter learns your boat's normal through the seasons and tells you when something drifts — a battery that stops charging, a bilge pump that cycles more than usual.
With the NMEA 2000 gateway the boat's position is live in the portal, passages are logged automatically, and the anchor watch raises the alarm — siren aboard, alert on your phone — if the boat drags in a crowded anchorage.
The sensors are wireless and the devices connect to what is already aboard, so most owners set up the system themselves. Book a free online 1-to-1 and we will go through your boat and the right setup with you.
For charter operators, several boats sit on one account with a fleet view of which boat needs attention, plus maintenance planned by date or engine hours for every boat between charters.
Harbour, the software base, is from €5 a month per boat, billed yearly, with a 30-day free trial. Each monitoring device is €150 once plus €5 a month, and add-on sensors are bought once with no monthly fee. The setup builder prices your exact boat in a minute.
Cloud Shelter uses the connection the boat already has. In a marina that is usually Wi-Fi; on a mooring or at anchor, a 4G router or Starlink. If the connection drops, readings are kept aboard and sync when it returns, and you are told if a device stops reporting altogether.
Your boat's data is hosted in the EU, in Frankfurt, and stays in your account. You can export it or delete the account at any time from your settings.
On a long lay-up the battery bank is what keeps the bilge pump and the monitoring running. Cloud Shelter tells you the moment shore power drops, shows the bank's charge and draw, and warns you in the evening if it will not last the night — so a tripped pedestal breaker is a phone call to the marina, not a flat bank.
Cloud Shelter supplies the monitoring system and portal; we do not have installers or offices in Greece. Setup is self-install, with remote help from our team.
