Boat monitoring in the UK

A boat monitoring system for UK boats and moorings

Many UK boats spend the winter on a mooring or in a marina while their owners are at home. Cloud Shelter's boat monitoring system watches the bilge, the batteries, shore power, smoke, temperature, security and position, and sends an alert to your phone the moment something changes.

We ship to the UK and you can view prices in pounds sterling.

Winter on the mooring

Rain, storms and frost are what UK boats face while they wait for spring. The bilge alarm counts every pump run and flags a slow leak; temperature sensors warn of frost before a pipe splits; the battery monitor tells you when the bank is running down without shore power.

How the bilge alarm works

Boat security in UK marinas

Wireless door, hatch and motion sensors, a certified smoke alarm and a siren aboard, armed from your phone. If the engine starts or the boat moves while it is armed, you know straight away.

Boat tracking in the UK

With the NMEA 2000 gateway, the boat's position is live in the portal and every passage is logged automatically — useful for theft alerts and for your own logbook.

Shipping and support

Orders ship to the UK; because Cloud Shelter is based in Cyprus, in the EU, UK import duties or VAT may apply on delivery. Setup is self-install — wireless sensors and devices that connect to what is aboard — with a free online 1-to-1 if you want help.

What it costs

Harbour, the software base, is from €5 a month per boat, billed yearly, with a 30-day free trial. Each monitoring device is €150 once plus €5 a month, and add-on sensors are bought once with no monthly fee. The setup builder prices your exact boat in a minute.

Prices can be shown in pounds; billing is in euros.

Getting online on a mooring

Cloud Shelter uses the connection the boat already has — marina Wi-Fi, a 4G router or Starlink. If the connection drops, readings are kept aboard and sync when it returns, and you are told if a device stops reporting.

Shore power on winter berths

Many boats sit on shore power through the winter to keep the batteries up and a dehumidifier running. A clip-on monitor tells you the moment the supply drops, so a tripped pontoon breaker is a phone message, not a flat bank and a damp boat in March.

Frost and damp

Temperature and humidity sensors catch the two slow problems of a UK winter: a cabin falling towards freezing, when a water pipe or a pump can split, and the damp that grows mould on an unheated boat. You are told when a sensor crosses its limit, not just shown a number.

We have no UK office or installers; support is remote. UK import duties or VAT may apply on delivery.
